FAQ
How do you make sure the newborn is safe during the session?
Safety is a top priority at CC Photography. I am a Registered Nurse and IBCLC. I was a mother baby RN at a local hospital in Des Moines. I am up to date on infant safety techniques that many photographers are not aware of.
A newborn is never left unsupervised or without proper support. Composites are made for poses that require hands-on safety.
Why are your sessions on weekdays?
I own two businesses, Latch (Latchia.com) and CC Photography. I decided to be more family focused while still doing what I love!
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm in Dexter, Iowa. 30 minutes west of West Des Moines. I travel in and around the Des Moines area. If your session requires extended travel (over 40 miles) then a travel fee will be discussed.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a minimum of 2 weeks. You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints! For weddings the turnaround time is around 8+ weeks.
How many pictures will we receive?
Most sessions are an hour long, except newborn photos. Newborn sessions take approximately 2-3 hours. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why most sessions take at least 2 weeks for proper editing.
For mini sessions, can I purchase more than just the 8 photos that come with the package?
Yes! Click "Add On" button for the full album when purchasing your mini/petite session.
